Adam Herzog has represented numerous clients pursuing whistleblower tips before the SEC, CFTC and FINCEN and has successfully assisted them in earning millions of dollars in award payments. Some of Mr. Herzog’s clients participated in a $104 million total award that was the fourth largest in the SEC program’s history. He has also litigated, arbitrated and settled hundreds of employment disputes resulting in millions of dollars for his clients. On behalf of his clients, he has successfully pursued claims for race, gender, disability, orientation, disability and age discrimination, as well as for protections offered under whistleblower, wage and hour laws, and breach of contract.
Mr. Herzog regularly represents for-profit and non-profit executives in negotiating employment agreements and restrictive covenants. He also counsels employees from all levels of organizations negotiating separation and severance agreements.
Prior to starting Herzog Employment Law, Mr. Herzog worked as a Partner at Katz Banks Kumin in Washington, D.C. Before moving to the DMV area, Mr. Herzog worked with the firms Robinson, Curley & Clayton P.C. and Latham & Watkins LLP in Chicago. He regularly teaches continuing legal education courses on employment agreements, employment law and disability discrimination for the District of Columbia Bar and other organizations.
Mr. Herzog served with the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps, a team-based national community service organization. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, two daughters and a giant Bernese Mountain Dog named Wilbur.
